Dony Polo Public School win Rajiv Gandhi Memorial U-15 cricket trophy

Patna, July 5, 2009
Dony Polo Public School chalked out a comprehensive 90-run win over RCC in the final match of the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial under-15 cricket tournament at the outer ground of the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Sunday.

Batting first Dony Polo School boys amassed 185 runs for the loss of five wickets off 25 overs. Aman Krishna played a diligent knock of 94 runs. Saurav was equally impressive with his 60 runs.

In reply, RCC could manage to score 95 runs off 20 overs. Rishabh made 22 runs. Sanjit and Rahul captured three wickets each.

Aman Krishna of Dony Polo School was declared man of the match and man of the series. Nikhil, Rahul and Anujit Parmar were adjudged best batsman, best bowler and best wicketkeeper respectively.


Dr Jitendra Prasad Singh gave away the prizes. Ajit Mishra, Pradeep Singh Rajivdhari Singh, Pawan Kumar, Runvijay Singh and Manoj Kumar were present at the closing function.

Dony Polo PS: 185 for five wickets in 25 overs (Aman Krishna-94, Saurav-60, Ankit-2/30, Sumit-2/24).
RCC: 95 all out in 20 overs (Rishabh-22, Suman-12, Tushar-11, Sanjit-3/26, Rahul-3/9) .
