BRC too strong for Khazanchi Road

Bihar Regimental Centre (BRC), Danapur steamrollered Khazanchi Road Football Club 8-0 in the SP Sinha memorial Patna Super Division soccer league at the Gandhi Maidan here on Thursday.
Armymen took invincible 5-0 lead at the end of first half’s play.

BRC striker, Pritam Bahadur netted in five goals including a brilliant hat-trick. This was the third hat-trick in the league.


Jitan Lohar began the onslaught in the very ninth minute of the game beating the rival goalkeeper through his powerful shot (1-0). Pritam Bahadur increased the lead scoring two goals in quick successions. He struck in the 14th and 18th minutes (3-0).

Birju Tudu shot home fourth goals in the 25th minute (4-0). Pritam Bahadur made it 5-0 in the 35th minute.

After the breather, Pritam Bahadur completed his hat-trick scoring sixth and seventh goals in the 53rd and 62nd minutes of the match. Pradeep made it 8-0 in the 80th minute.

Khazanchi Road boys could not do much save to collect some rich experience against the speed and skill of their fancied rivals.
