Bihar Regimental Centre (BRC) opened their Patna Super Division football league campaign in style drubbing Bihar Police 6-1 at Gandhi Maidan here on Sunday.
In a virtual one-sided match, BRC had a commanding 2-0 lead at the end of first half.
Raju Soi opened the account in the 31st minute off a pass from Pradeep Devnath (1-0). He increased the margin just after five minutes off a pass from Jitan Lohar (2-0).
In the 60th minute, Navin Thapa reduced the margin for Bihar Police (2-1). But that was what Bihar Policemen could do in the 90-minute battle. Armymen scored four more goals in the later part of the game to take their final tally to 6-1.
