Patna, July 17, 2009Adamya Vikrant of Bihar clinched the boys’ under-14 singles title of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) talent series tournament defeating Ishank Ravi (Bihar) 6-4, 6-2 in the final at the Patliputra Colony courts here on Friday last.
Madhu Jaiswal of Bihar won the girls’ under-12 singles crown beating Aneema John (UP) 6-2, 7-6 (0). Vishu Prasad (Delhi) claimed the boys’ under-12 singles title defeating Shree Krishna of Bihar 6-4, 6-3 in the final.
Dr Akhouri B Prasad, secretary, Bihar Lawn Tennis Association, who was the chief guest at the closing function gave away the prizes.
