AITA talent series: Two Bihar players in U-12 boys' singles quarter-finals

The second edition of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) talent series tournament for U-12 and U-14 boys and girls began at the Patliputra Colony tennis courts here on Monday.

Two Bihar players Ritwaik Bhriguvanshi and Shree Krishna moved into the boys’ under-12 singles quarter-finals winning their respective matches without facing much difficulty.

In the boys’ singles under-14 category Yash Raj Sharan of Bihar entered the quarter-finals defeating Anshumat Srivastav (Bihar).

Boys’ under-12 (pre-quarter-finals): Vishu Prasad (Delhi) bt Ankit Anand (Bihar) 6-1, 6-1; Asher John Kandahil (UP) bt Ahbar Alam (Bihar) 6-0, 6-1; Ritwik Bhriguvanshi (Bihar) bt Snehil Aryan (Bihar) 6-0, 6-0 and Shree Krishna (Bihar) bt Nihal Singh (Bihar) 6-0, 6-0.
