UP XI post 18-run victory

Patna, February 9
UP XI defeated Cricket Association of Bihar by 18 runs in the first All India Pratik Narain memorial under-17 cricket tournament at the DAV Public School, BSEB Colony ground, here on Monday.

Batting first UP XI made 125 runs off 23.2 overs. Vivek Singh (39) and Manish Patel (28) were the notable contributors. Vikas Anand took three wickets for 18 runs while Kundan Kumar grabbed two for 28.

In reply, CAB could collect 107 runs off 28.2 overs. Kundan Kumar batted well to score 41 runs. Raj Srivastava scored 13 runs. Dinesh Yadav claimed four wickets for 16 runs. Ayan Chowdhary and Anil Pandey claimed two wickets each. For his impressive bowling performance, Dinesh Yadav was declared man of the match.
