Officers XI clinched the G Krishnaiyah-KC Surendra Babu Trophy beating Ambedkar XI by eight runs in an exhibition cricket match at the Mithilesh Stadium here on Sunday.
Batting first Officers XI led by Urban Development secretary, Government of Bihar, Deepak Kumar scored 97 runs. In reply, Ambedkar XI led by Information and Public Relation Department secretary Rajesh Bhushan could made 89 runs.
Amay Kumar Singh (Ambedkar XI) who scored 42 runs was declared man of the match. Ofiicers XI’s Vivek Kumar Singh scored 27 runs. All the players were awarded memento and Madhubani paintings by the organizers, Ambedkar Khel Vihar.
