Patna will host the 24th sub-junior National tenni-koit championship at Patna Central School here from June 8.
Talking to sports scribes here on Wednesday, secretary general of Tenni-Koit Federation of India BS Nagraj said the federation was trying for live telecast of the event. “A letter has already been sent to Doodarshan, New Delhi to this regard”, he added.
Working president of the Bihar Tenni-Koit Association, SB Prasad said that matches would be played on the newly constructed six courts at the Patna Central School ground.
Neeraj Kumar Pappu, secretary, Bihar Teeni-Koit Association said that about 700 players drawn from 23 states were expected to participate in the five-day tournament.
