Patna, April 10, 2009Bihar throwball teams left for Mumbai on Thursday night to participate in the National junior and beach throwball championship to be held at Mumbai from April 11.
Throwball Association of Bihar secretary Niraj Kumar Pappu said he hoped that Bihar would perform well in the championships. “Our boys and girls in good frame of mind and they will definitely do well in the tournament”, he said.
Teams: Boys; Anand, Rajesh, Ankit Kumar, Akash Kumar, Ajay Anand,Shakir, Praveen, Junaid Quamar, Junaid-ur-Rehman, Md Shahab.
Girls: Neha Singh, Rani Priya, Sumedha Sonal, Suman, Micky, Sweta Roy, PrachiKopal, Sareeta singh, Priyanka Dayal, Sakchi, Sweta Pathak, Komal and Seema Bharati.
