Musallahpur boys and Saidpur girls win Patna district inter-school kho-kho titles

Government Middle School, Musallahpur and Government Middle School, Saidpur won the boys and girls titles respectively in the BN Chowdhary memorial Patna district inter-school kho-kho championships at the outer ground of the Moinul haq Stadium here on Wednesday.

In the boys’ final Musallahpur outsmarted Fatuha High School by six runs while Saidpur girls prevailed over Notre Dame Academy by seven runs. Mukesh Kumar, Bunty and Kanhaiya played well for Musallahpur while Deshraj, Ankur, Sikandar and Ritesh performed significantly for the losers.

Jyotika, Anuradha, Anu, Archana and Priyanka displayed captivating performance for Saidpur school. Julie, Preeti and Nidhi showed their worth for Notre Dame Academy.

Former DGP RR Prasad and Bihar Olympic Association secretary Mushtaq Ahmad gave away the prizes. Bihar Kho-Kho Association secretary, IS Thakur, Mrs Lalita Devi, Mithislesh Kumar Singh and Dr Uttam Kumar Singh were among the other dignitaries present at the prize-distribution function.
