City Students’ Club had a cake-walk in the PDCA junior division cricket league with a commendable eight-wicket victory over Evergreen Cricket Club at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Friday.
Batting first, Evergreen club scored 101 runs in 21 overs. Sachin top scored with 38 runs. Ajay Pandey bowled well to capture three wickets for six runs.
In reply, City Students scored the required runs in 18 overs for the loss of two wickets. Ajay Pandey hit an unbeaten half century (50) to play a key role in his team’s victory.

Crescent Cricket Club beat Vaishali Cricket Club by 34 runs in the Patna District Cricket Association junior division league at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Thursday.
Batting first, Crescent Club scored 186 for eight wickets in 30 overs. Vaishali could manage to score 152 runs in 26.3 overs.
