PDCA junior division league: GAC post big win

Patna, April 3, 2009
Gardanibagh Athletic Club (GAC) scripted a thumping eight-wicket win over Lal Bahadur Shastri Club in the Patna District Cricket Association junior division league at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Friday.


Batting first Lal Bahadur Shatsri Club made a paltry 106 all out off 25 overs. In reply, GAC achieved the required runs losing only two wickets on the way.

In the second match, Kankarbagh Cricket Club also chalked out an impressive 10-wicket victory over Bijoy Narain XI. After bowling out Bijoy Narain XI for am meager 78 runs, Kankarbahg Cricket Club reached the winning target without losing a wicket.

Sinha Biswas Cricket Club steamrollered Western Cricket Club by 103 runs in the PDCA junior division league at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Thursday. In another match, Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) drubbed Crescent Cricket Club by 101 runs.

NMCC defeated Bank of India by one wicket in the PDCA junior division league at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Friday. In the second match, Sharma Sporting thrashed Youth Union by 126 runs.

Patna Athletic Club (PAC) defeated Lal Bahadur Shastri Club (LBSC) by two wickets in the PDCA junior division league at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Friday.
Batting first, LBSC were 180 for seven wickets in the allotted 30 overs. In reply, PAC reached the target in 23.5 overs for the loss of eight wickets.
