PDCA senior division league: SBI score 32-run win

State Bank of India (SBI) fought hard to beat Secretariat by 32 runs in the Patna District Cricket Association (PDCA) senior division league at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Wednesday. In the second match, PESU beat YMCC by 5 wickets.

Batting first State Bank of India scored 137 runs and then restricted their rivals for 105 runs. In the second match, YMCC could manage to score 114 runs off 30 overs while their rivals PESU chased the target successfully losing five wickets on the way.

Secretariat maul Navshakti Niketan

Secretariat Sports Club defeated Navshakti Niketan by 47 runs in the PDCA senior division league at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Tuesday. Earlier in the first match, NYKCC beat Hercules Cricket Club by eight wickets.
Batting first, Secretariat made 159 runs in 29.4 overs. In reply, Navshakti Niketan could garner 112 runs for the loss nine wickets off 30 overs.

Adhikari XI score emphatic win

Adhikari XI chalked out an impressive 28-run win over Prabha XI in the PDCA senior divisionleague at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Saturday.
Panchsheel Cricket Club recorded 71-run victory over Hercules Cricket Club in the day’s other match.

Adhikari XI scored 151 runs off 30 overs with Manish (33) and Ashish (27) doing well with their bats. Veer Pratap took 4 wickets for 20 runs. In reply, Prabha XI were all out for 123 runs.

Patna College start campaign in style

After a lot of hara-kiri Patna District Cricket Association senior division cricket league began at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Friday. In the first match, Patna College scored an emphatic five-wicket victory over YMCC while Zafar Imam Cricket Club (ZICC) recorded 42-run victory over KNCC in the second match.

Dilip Kumar put Patna College on the front foot claiming four wickets for 13 runs as YMCC could manage to score 105 all out off 27.3 overs after electing to bat first. Sahil Srivastava top scored with 24 runs.
In reply, Amit Nicky (44) guided Patna College to victory. Dililp (19) and Amit (12) were the other useful contributors.
