Bihar girls finish third in Jr. National throwball

Bihar girls got third position in the junior National throwball championship held in Mumbai recently. Bihar narrowly missed the chance to play in the final losing to Tamil Nadu by just one point in the semi-final.

Throwball Association of Bihar secretary Neeraj Kumar Pappu, who was with the team in Mumbai, said Bihar defeated Madhya Pradesh for the third place clash.

He said Sweta Rai, Neha Rani, Sumedha and Priyanka Dayal performed well in the tournament. He also lauded the efforts of all team members.

Meanwhile, Patna Women’s College principal Sister Doris D Suza, patron-in-chief of the Throwball Association of Bihar, SB Prasad, Patna Central School principal SP Singh and vice-principal OP Singh congratulated all the members of Bihar team for their achievement.
