S. Sabanayakan of The Hindu and Saibal Bose of The Times of India have been elected unanimously president and secretary respectively of the Calcutta Sports Journalists' Club at the annual general meeting here today.
While Sabanayakan stayed as the president for the second year, Bose came in as the secretary for the first time. Amitabha Das Sharma of The Hindu also retained the post of treasurer. S Sabanayakan is also the president of the Sports Journalists Federation of India (SJFI).
The rest of the Executive Council members will be finalised in the first meeting.
