Dony Polo Public School clinched the fourth Sheela Devi memorial under-16 Twenty20 inter-school cricket title defeating Patna Central School by 6 wickets at the Patna High School ground here on Wednesday.
In a low scoring match, Patna Central School could not do much against Dony Polo Public School bowlers and were all out for paltry 80 runs off 17.1 overs. Satyam emerged as the top scorer with well made 42 runs. Nikhil also reached the double figures (18). Kislay Kanan got three wickets for only four runs. Rajnish and Anand took two wickets each.
In reply Dony Polo boys had no difficulty to achieve the target losing only four wickets on the way despite some good bowling performance by Krishnamani, who captured three wickets for 17 runs. Nishant (245) and Kishlay Kanan (19) were the notable contributors for the winners.
At the end, Front Line Group president Birendra Kumar distributed the prizes. Patna High School principal Bisheshwar Prasad was the guest honour at the closing function.
