Chhattisgarh decimate Gujarat in National sub-junior women's hockey


Mumbai, April 12, 2013: Chhattisgarh registered a big victory over Gujarat 21-0 on the day-2 of the 3rd Hockey India Sub-Junior Women National Championship (West Zone) at Mumbai Hockey Association Limited Ground here on Friday.

Rusali Kashyap scored maximum number of seven goals for Chhattisgarh followed by Disha Nagvanshi (6), Heena Ansari (3), Ankita Bakshi (3) and Ishwari Dewangan (2).

In another match of Pool B, Rajasthan defeated Goa 6-0. Skipper Rita scored three goals for Rajasthan while Aarti, Tanya Singhla and Alis Gautam scored a goal each for their team. 

In Pool A, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy beat Hockey Bhopal 16-0.

Pool A- MPHA 16 (Rakhi Prajapati 12, Upasana Singh14, 15, Anujua Singh 18, 52, 59, Preet  Dubey 23, Nutan Topna 29, Brajnandini Dhuriya 42, Jyoti Pal 43, 63, Karishma Yadav 50, 60, Prathibha Arya 57, Own Goal 65 and Suman Devi 68) beat Hockey Bhopal 0.
