Mumbai, October 7, 2012: The Pro-Am event of the CG Open
2012 was won by professional Rashid Khan and his team at the Bombay Presidency
Golf Club on Sunday.
The Pro-Am was played in the team scramble format where the team’s best ball was chosen on every shot including the putting green. After the best ball was chosen all other players were to place their ball within one score-card length before continuing play.
PGTI member Rashid Khan led his team to victory with a score of 54.1. Rashid’s team comprised of amateurs Mr. Hiren Pandit, Mr. Brijender Singh and Mr. Milind Kamat.
PGTI member Rafick Ali Mollah’s team posted a score of 54.4 to finish second. Rafick’s team comprised of amateurs Ms. Sangeeta K, Ms. Mugdha Datar and Ms. Rani Goenka.
