Haryana girls clinch 2nd Hockey India Sub-Junior National North Zone title

New Delhi, October 20, 2012: Haryana defeated Uttar Pradesh 6-0 to win final of 2nd Hockey India Sub- Junior Girls National Championship (North Zone) at Rudrapur, Uttrakhand on Saturday.

Haryana scored through Arshiya Singh (18th and 34th minute), Khushboo (21st minute), Mohini (31st minute), Siddhi Singh (44thminute) and Shweta Singh (59th minute).

In the third and fourth position match Punjab beat Uttarakhand 5-0. Punjab scored through Lakshmi Devi (23rd, 41st and 53rd minute), Nitika Devi (28thminute) and Paramjeet Kaur (45th minute).
