48 probables chosen for junior men hockey coaching Camp to begin at Patiala from October 15


NEW DELHI, October 11, 2012: The 48 probables for the Indian junior team to compete in the 2nd Sultan of Johar Cup 2012, Malaysia will start training at the SAI Centre at the Netaji Subash National Institute of Sports in Patiala from October 15, Hockey India announced on Thursday.

Hockey India selectors Col. Balbir Singh, B.P Govinda and Syed Ali alongwith Government Observer Harbinder Singh – all Olympians – selected a core group of 48 probables for the camp on the basis of their performance in the recently concluded 2nd Hockey India Junior Men National Championship in Lucknow

The Indian team will take part in 2nd Sultan of Johar Cup 2012 in Malaysia from November 11 to 18. The tournament will also feature Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and the hosts Malaysia.
