The quarter-final line-up is holders Railways vs Uttar
Pradesh (7am), Haryana vs Chandigarh (9:30 am),
Odisha vs Jharkhand (5 pm) and Madhya Pradesh Hockey
Academy vs Punjab
(7:30 pm). All the four matches will be played on Sunday at Aish Bagh Hockey
Stadium.
Four goals by Navjot Kaur helped Haryana entered the
quarterfinals, with a huge 22-0 win over Andhra Pradesh in their concluding
league game of Pool B at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium. Navjot Kaur was given
player of the match award for her contribution in team’s victory. Navneet Kaur
(3), Ramandeep Kaur (3), Jaswinder Kaur (2), Udita (2), Jaspreet Kaur (2),
Harpreet Kaur (2), Anshul (1), Kiran Dahiya (1), Manjeet Kaur (1) and Anju
Dhiman (1) are the other goal scorers for Haryana.
Uttar Pradesh also booked their berth in the quarter-finals,
defeating Bengal 13-0 in their last league
match of Pool H. Deepika Sharma who scored maximum number of five goals was
given player of the match award.
Bihar also finished their campaign in Pool F defeating Assam 21-0 while Delhi beat Tripura 8-0 in their last league
match of Pool H.
