Patna, February 19, 2010: Kaimur and Madhepura won their respective matches comfortably in the Chief Minister Cup cricket tournament. Kaimu chalked out comprehensive 58-run win over Arwal in Patna Zone match at the Moinul Haq Stadium here while Madhepura got the better Begusarai at Darbhanga on Friday.
Arwal won the toss and elected to field first. Kaimur scored 197 runs off 34.2 overs. Wasim top scored with 60 runs. He hit seven boundaries in his knock. Rajesh claimed five wickets for 38 runs.
In reply, Arwal crashed out for 139 runs in 32 overs. Suraj and Brijendra scored 29 and 23 runs respectively. Yashwant Singh took four wickets for 22 runs.
Madhepura beat Begusarai by 37 runs at the Nehru Stadium in Darbhanga. Batting first after winning the toss, Madhepura made 140 for eight wickets off 35 overs. In reply, Begusarai were all out for 103 runs in 26.1 overs.
