Patna, February 6, 2010: A 10-member Bihar team will participate in the 71st senior National and inter-state table tennis championship to be held in Guwahati from February 10, according to Mukesh Roy, secretary, Bihar Table Tennis Association (BTTA).
BTTA president Sanjay Singh announced BTTA would give Rs 1 lakh to the players if Bihar perform well in the national championships. He was speaking at function at the end of the 15-day coaching camp of the Bihar team probabales.
Men: Zain-ur-Rhman, Samir Chakarborty, Francis, Piyush D Gandhi and Utasav Rastogi. Women: Ahana Paul, Polami Raha, Dipali Sarkar, Priya Kumari and Rinki Ghosh. Manager: Atanu Chatterjee.
