Don Bosco Academy will take on Delhi Public School (DPS, Patna) in the final of the Inter-School football tournament at the St Michael’s School ground here.
In the semi-finals, Don Bosco Academy prevailed over St Michael’s School ‘A’ 4-3 via sudden death while DPS, Patna beat Loyola High School 2-1 after an engrossing 90-minute tussle.
Don Bosco Academy and St Michael’s School played 1-1 draw at the end of regulation time.
Delhi Public School boys took lead in the througha Abhijeet Kartk goal in the 10th minute. Ratnesh brought the equalizer in the 24th minute for Loyola High School. Abhay Kumar put DPS into the lead in the 24th minute (2-1).
DPS were leading 2-1 at the end of the first half. The second half saw Loyola boys pressed hard for the equalizer but poor finish came to their way. DPS boys changed the game plan and concentrated more on to defend their citadel.
