Patna, April 17, 2010: Patna Central School (PCS) boys claimed the NMIT inter-school table tennis team championship title defeating Delhi Public School (DPS), Patna 3-0 at the Bihar Young Men’s Institute here on Saturday.
In the sub-junior boys’ singles evennt Amit Kumar (Holy Mission School), Tushar Kanti Das (Loyola High School), Gagan Nir (Loyola HS) and Saurav Kumar of Patna Central School entered the semi-finals.
Aditya Umang (St Xavier’s School), Rishutosh Kumar (Christ Church School), SagarKumar and Ayush Adarsh (both St Michael’s School) advanced into the semi-finals of the cadet boys’ singles event.
Rahul Kumar, Gagan Nir, Arohi Utkarsh, Amit Kumar, Deepak, Saurav Kumar, Rahul Prakash, Ankit Kumar, Aniket, Tushar Arora and Tushar Kanti Das won their respective matches in the junior boys’ singles to move into the third round.
