Manoj Sewa starts campaign in style


Patna, May 3, 2010: Top seed Manoj Sewa (West Bengal) began his title hunt in style defeating Anirvan Hazarika (Assam) 6-2, 6-0 in P and M Mall AITA ranking tournament at the Patliputra Colony courts here on Monday.

In the other actions of the day, Aman Kumar of Bihar edged out Venkat Siddhartha (Bihar) 6-3, 7-5 and Siddharth Verma (WB) got the better of Dhruv Agrawal (UP) 6-2, 6-2.

Earlier, DN Sahay, former Tripura Governor, inaugurated the championship in a colourful function. Sahay also felicitated chief coach of Bihar Lawn tennis Association Kunal Aikat on the occasion.
