Earlier, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Narendra Singh inaugurated the championship at a colourful function. Speaking on the occasion, Singh announced that he would give cash award to ten best players of the tournament. Rakesh Ranjan, tournament director, welcomed the guests. Vivekanand of APWAD proposed a vote of the thanks.
