Aditi, Ved Prakash surge into lead

Patna, April 29, 2010: Aditi Arya of Ram Mohun Roy Seminary surged into the lead with 3 points at the end of third round’s play in the girls’ section of the APWAD inter-school mastermind chess championships at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Thursday.

In boys’ U-10 section, Vir Sharma (St Karen’s School), Rishik Anand (Litera Valley School, Shivang Aryan, Kumar Harsh and Kumar Sambhav shared the lead with three points each.

In boys’ U-12 group, three players Ashwani Arya, AA Anwar and Ishan Karusnesh were leading the points tally with three points to their credits.
In under-14 boys’ section, Sameer Sengar, Ayush Kashyap and Alok Priyadarshi emerged as joint leaders with three points each.
Ved Prakash of Chapra was in sole lead in the boys’ U-16 section.
