Vikesh wins Magadh University chess title

Patna, September 11, 2009:
Vikesh Nandan of BS College, Danapur, won the Magadh University (MU) inter-college chess championship title at the TPS College hall here on Friday.

Sindhu Shekhar of AN College, Patna, got the second position. Vijay Kumar of TPS College earned the third spot while Karmaveer Jagat (JNL College, Khagaul) achieved the fourth place.

Dr Baban Singh, principal, TPS College gave away the prizes. Dr Akhileshwar Prasad Sharma, SS Prasad, Dr KK Verma and Dr Gopal Prasad, ward councilor were present at the closing function. Arun Kumar proposed a vote of thanks.
