Patna, September 8, 2009:
As many as 71 teams from Delhi, UP, Maharashtra, Chennai, MP, WB,Jharkhand, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir sought their entries in the 25thAll-India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournamentto be held here in October.
Bijoy Kumar Narain Chunnu, organising secretary, said Modern Public School (Delhi) Goodwill Public School (J and K), Sports Hostel (Gorakhpur), Divine Public School (Gorakhpur), St Andrew’s (Uttarakhand), St Joseph’s Academy (Jharkhand), Modern Public School (Mumbai), Kendriya Vidyalaya (Chennai), DAV School (Haryana), Yadavpur High School (Kolkata), MGN School (Bhuvaneshwar) and hosts of schools from all parts of Bihar and had sent their entries for the tournament.
The entries would be finalized in a meeting of the tournament committee to be held on September 12.
