Raj Milk win Sadbhavana Cup football

Patna, June 20, 2010: Raj Milk Football Club won the Kingfisher Sadbhavana Cup football tournament demolishing Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) 5-0 in the final at Gandhi Maidan here on Sunday.

Raj Milk shot into commanding 3-0 lead in the first half.

Raj Milk Football Club took the command from the very start of the match and scored goals at their will.

Raj Milk captain Md Shahid opened the account in the 13th minute (1-0). Raj Milk’s Nigerian striker Uzoma netted the second goal in the 19th minute (2-0). Md Shahid scored again to make it (3-0).

After the lemon break, Raj Milk swelled the margin through Md Shahid in the 73rd minute (4-0). Viplab Dhar made it 5-0 in the 78th minute (5-0).

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) national general secretary and newly elected Rajya Sabha MP, Ram Kripal Yadav and manager of Kingfisher, Bihar and Jharkhand, MEA Usmani jointly gave away the prizes. Mirtunjay Tiwari, president, RJD, Sports Cell welcomed the guests.


Rajendra Prasad Yadav, secretary, Patna Football Association, former Bihar Santosh Trophy player Jwala Prasad Sinha, state panel cricket umpire Manoj Kulmani, RJD youth leader Pintooji and Sunil Kumar were present at the prize-distribution function.
