Patna, June 7, 2010: Spinner Rohit Mehta took 4 wickets for 9 runs including a hat-trick as Bihar humble Assam by 103 runs in the East Zone under-14 cricket championships at Cuttack.
According to information reached here, batting first Bihar made 174 runs in 49.4 overs. Anuj (12), Vibhuti Bhashkar (34), I Kishan (45), Ajeet (10), Sanjeet (11) and Prashant (10) were the main contributors.
Yashir (2 for 19), M Dutta (2 for 30) and Irfan (2 for 28) were the wicket-takers for Assam.
In reply, Assam were bundled out for 71 runs off 27.3 overs. Harsha Das (32) and Gautam (11) reached the double figures. Rohit Mehta bagged four wickets for nine runs in his spell of 7 overs. Shubham and Sanjit got three and two wickets each for 17 and 12 runs respectively.
