Patna, May 31, 2010: Ujjawal Devnath scored the first hat-trick of the league as Bihar Regimental Centre (BRC), Danapur, humiliated Eleven Star, Mokama, 9-0 in the Patna Football Association super division league at the New Police Lines ground here on Monday.
BRC took commanding 4-0 in the first half.
Dil Bhadur Thapa too caught the eyes as the nippy forward scored four goals but failed to make it a three-in-a-row. Tahpa drew the first blood in the third minute (1-0). Vimal Bahadur struck the second goal in the 18th minute (2-0). Two minutes later, RK Mahto shot home (3-0). Just after one minute, Dil Bahadur Thapa slammed again (4-0).
After the half time, Ujjawal Devnath made the hat-trick, scoring three goals in the 50th, 60th and 65th minutes resspectively (7-0). Dil Bahadur Thapa increased the tally in the 67th and 70th minutes respectively. This was second successive win for BRC in the league.
