Patna, June 6, 2010: Patna Coaching Camp earned a grand double winning the boys’ and girls’ titles of the third Prahlad Prasad memorial ball badminton tournament at the New Police Lines ground here on Sunday.
Patna Coaching Camp (PCC) boys defeated Dwarika High School 29-28, 29-26 while PCC girls beat Dayanand Girls High School, Mithapur, 29-15, 29-22 in the final.
Kundan of Dwarika High School and Swati of Patna Coaching Camp were declared best players of the tournament.
Dr Gyanendra Singh, vice-president, Bihar State Ball Badminton Association distributed the prizes. Gauri Shankar welcomed the guests. Dheeraj Kumar, convenor, proposed a vote of thanks.
