Impressive win for BRC in Patna Super Division football league

Patna, May 30, 2010: Bihar Regimental Centre (BRC), Danapur began their Patna Football Association super division league campaign in a great fashion humiliating Rainbow Football Club 5-0 at Gandhi Maidan here on Sunday.

BRC took 1-0 at the end of the first half.

Rajnish Kumar opened the account in the 29th minute (1-0). Raj Kishore Mahto netted the second goal in the 46th minute (2-0). Dil Bahadur Thapa increased the margin in 58th minute (3-0). Ujjawal Devnath struck two more goals in the 77th and 79th minutes to take the final tally to (5-0).

In the second match at the New Police Lines ground, FCI drubbed State Bank of India (SBI) 5-0. FCI were leading 2-0 at lemon break.

Vibhushan Ram drew the first blood in the 6th minute. In the 31st minute, Mukesh Kumar scored the second goal (2-0). Mukesh struck again in the 47th (3-0). Vibhushan Ram slammed the fourth goal in the 50th minute (4-0). Chandan Thapa completed the final tally in the 70th minute (5-0).

Kanahiya Nandan of FCI was shown yellow card by referee for rough play.
