This year’s Sukhdeo cricket tournament will be dedicated to Swachh Bihar and de-addiction

Patna, December 3, 2015: The 31st edition of the All India Sukhdeo Narain Memorial Inter-School Cricket Tournament will be dedicated to de-addiction and Swachh Bihar, according to organising secretary Bijoy Kumar Narain Chunnu.

The tournament will begin at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on December 6. In the opening match Litera Valley School will meet St Paul’s International School.

The programme schedule states that all participating teams will assemble at 8 am at the venue. All participating teams will line up before the main stage with their school flags.
Raman Sindhi will deliver motivational speech. School girls will line up from entrance point to main dais to welcome the guests.
Arrival of guests and they will be received by the members of the organising committee thereafter tilak and garlanding ceremony would be performed.

Organising secretary Bijoy Kumar Narain Chunnu will pin up the badge to the guests.
HL Gulati will request the chief guest to hoist the tournament flag. Guests will light up Swachh Bihar torch and hand it over to senior most captain of a team for making an inner round of stadium holding the torch. Participating teams will follow the torch bearer to make a round of the ground.  Then the teams will take oath and take pledge for Swachh Bihar and de-addiction.  
Chief guest will declare the tournament open.

Bursting of 31 crackers and releasing of balloons are the other programmes. Distribution of dark glasses to the blind children and study materials to Madrasa students are the other programmes of the opening ceremony.

School students will display placards displaying the slogans on de-addiction.
The organizing committee has also decided to honour students, who had participated in the tournament previous years and got 75 per cent marks in the class 10th examination.
