outclassed Himanshu Kumar of Uttar Pradesh 3-6, 6-0, 6-1 to win the men’s
singles title of the Deshratna Dr Rajendra Prasad Memorial All India Ranking Tennis
Tournament at the Patliputra Tennis Centre courts here on Saturday.
Aditi Shreya of Bihar tamed
her state mate Sofia Khan 6-1, 6-1to bag women’s crown.
The pair of Chandra Shekhar Mohanty (Assam) and Anshumat Srivastava (Bihar) defeated
Dipanshu Garg (Haryana) and Manvir Singh Randhawa (Maharashtra)
6-2, 6-4 to claim men’s doubles title.
In the women’s doubles final, Meenu Pandey (UP) and Manisha
Sahani (UP) beat Sofia Khan (Bihar) and Aditi Shreya (Bihar) 3-6,
7-5, 10-7 to capture the hobours.
Dr. AB Prasad, secretary Bihar
Lawn Tennis Association (BLTA) welcomed the guests. President Rotary
Patliputra, Rotarian Sachidanand and secretary Rotarian Subodh Kumar Jain distributed
the prizes. Kunal Aikat, chief coach, BLTA, proposed a vote of
thanks.
