Mother Teresa Mission School, Gyan Jyoti Residential Public School post comprehensive wins

Patna, December 8, 2015: Mother Teresa Mission School outgunned Himalayan Public School by eight wickets and Gyan Jyoti Residential Public School beat St Albert’s High School by six wickets in the 31st All India Sukhdeo Narain Memorial Inter-School Cricket Tournament at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Tuesday. With this wins, both the teams entered the second round of the championships.

Ajit of Mother Teresa School, who scored 36 runs and Divyanshu of Gyan Jyoti, who made 35 runs, were adjudged man of the match.

Batting first, Himalayan Public boys garnered 88 runs for the loss of 8 wickets off 20 overs. In reply, Mother Teresa boys achieved the target losing two wickets on the way off 9 overs.

In the next match, St Albert’s boys scored 111 runs for the loss of nine wickets off 25 overs. In reply, Gyan Jyoti boys made 112 for the loss of 4 wickets off 21.1 overs.

Brief scores: Himalayan Public 88 (Krishna 34, Baljeet 18, Piyush 15, Raj Kumar, Dilip and Rahol took two wickets each)
Mother Teresa: 89 for 2 (Ajit 36, Rahul 26, Raj 19, Pratik and Nandeep bagged one wicket each)

St Albert’s: 111 for 9(Vaibhav 14, Ved Prakash 14, Ashish 11, Abhishek 10, Kumar Dev, Ranvir Ranjan and Akash Pandey captured two wickets each)

Gyan Jyoti: 112 for 4 (Divyansh 35, Samir Kumar 25, Monu Ranjan 12, Ankit and Abhishek bagged one wicket each).
