Sipahi Bhagat Memorial Inter-School Carrom Tournament ends

Patna, December 5, 2015: The three-day 4th Sipahi Bhagat Memorial Inter-School Carrom Tournament came to a glorious end at Open Minds A Birla School hall here on Saturday with the distribution of prizes amongst the winners. In the senior girls’ singles, Saima Ahamad of Ishan International bagged the top place while Saika Ahamad of Inshan International got the second position.

In the junior boys’ singles, Abhigyan Aditya of DAV BSEB claimed the first prize while Shivansh of Open Minds came second. In the junior girls’ singles, Samiksha Ranjan of Raza International stood first while Shalvi of Open Minds earned the second position.

Malti Devi, Trustee, Deorani Devi Memorial Trust and Aman Kumar, COO Open Minds- A Birla School gave away the prizes. School Principal Rajesh Sarkar welcomed the dignitaries and congratulated the students for showing a high-level of sportsmanship. Admin In-charge Shovika Yadav proposed a vote of thanks. Also present on the occasion were Satyajit Aditya, organising secretary and other teachers of the school.
