Bihar's javelin thrower Anjani wins silver in youth athletics

Patna, April 21, 2017: Anjani Kumari of Bihar won silver medal in javelin throw event of the 14th National Youth Athletic Championships in Hyderabad on Friday. 

Anjani threw the spear to a distance of 39.19 metres to bag the silver medal. N Hemamalini of Tamil Nadu got the gold medal with a throw of 44.03 metres while Gayteri Panwar of Punjab claimed the bronze medal with a throw of 38.28 metres.
