5-day AIFF D License course ends







Patna, April 17, 2017: All India Football Federation (AIFF) D License course organised by Bihar Football Association (BFA) ended with 20 players appearing in written and practical examinations here on Monday.

This was the first such type of course organised by the BFA this season. 

Seventeen men and 3 women footballers participated in the five-day course.

Written test of the trainees was conducted at the Youth Hostel while practical was held at New Police Lines ground.

AIFF instructor Abhay Kumar gave the basic knowledge of coaching rules to the trainees while referee Ravi Kumar took the the theory class on football rules. Santosh Trophy goalkeeper Sudipto Majumdar shared his experience on goal keeping with the trainees.

BFA secretary Imtiaz Hussain said the results of the this D License course and the course that held earlier this year, would be declared soon.

He said BFA would organise 15-day Asian Football Confederation (AFC) C Level football coaches course in Patna from July 5.

Junior football selection trials

Hussain further said that the selection trials-cum-coaching camp of Bihar team for the Junior National Football Championships to be held in Chhattisgarh from April 27, will be held in Gidhaur (Jamui) from April 19.

Nand Kishore Prasad, in-charge SAI Centre, Gidhaur, has been made in-charge of the training. Santosh Kumar of AG Office Patna has been named as coach, he added.
