Janamejay of Delhi Public School wins boys U-10 chess title




Winners of Vector Classes Super Challenge Inter-School Chess Tournament in Patna on May 12, 2013


Patna, May 12, 213: Janamejay of Delhi Public School clinched the U-10 boys' title of the Vector Classes Super Challenge Inter-School Chess Tournament bagging 5.5 points at the end final round at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Sunday.

Ujjawal of Litera Valley and Rupesh B Ramchandra of CGG School got second and third respectively with 5 points each.

Nilesh Kumar of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kankarbagh, got the top spot in the boys’ U-12 category collecting 5.5 points. Kumar Sambhav of Baldwin Academy and Mrignashu of DPS were in the second and third spots respectively with 5 points each.

In the boys’ U-14 group, Veer Sharma of Litera Valley won the title with 5.5 points. Kumar Vishesh of Loyola School earned the second place. Syed Hasan Musa of Muslim High School was in third position with 5 points.
