Indian Junior Women Team Announced for Scotland Tour in preparations for the Junior Women World Cup 2013

New Delhi,  April 30, 2013: Hockey India announced its junior women team for the Scotland tour beginning from May 1 to 11. This tour is seen as a preparatory tour ahead of the Junior Women’s World Cup to be played at Monchengladbach, Germany, from July 27 to August 4, 2013.

Hockey India selectors Col. Balbir Singh, Syed Ali along with government observer Harbinder Singh selected the list of 18 players during the selection trials recently conducted at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, in New Delhi.

During this tour Indian team will be playing five games against Scotland with the first game will be played on  May 3  in Glasgow.
