Dwarika School clinch ball badminton title

Patna, August 30, 2010: Dwarika School, Mandiri, won the fourth Major Dhyanchand memorial ball badminton title beating BMP-5 School Camp Jail, 29-19 and 29-27 in the final at the New Police Lines ground here on Monday.

BMP-5 School, Camp Jail beat Dayanand Girls High School 29-27 and 29-20 to win the girls title.

Sonu and Sweety (both from BMP-5 School, Camp Jail) were adjudged best players in boys and girls’ sections respectively.

Prof Nawal KishoreYadav, MLC and president, Bihar State Ball Badminton Association (BSBBA) distributed the prizes.
