Patna, August 23, 2010: Ankit Kumar won the junior boys’ singles title of the Apresh Ghosh memorial table tennis tournament beating Piyush D Gandhi 11-5, 11-7, 6-11, 9-11, 11-8 in the final at the Bihar Young Men’s Institute here on Monday.
Amit Kumar claimed the sub-junior boys’ singles title defeating Saurav Kumar 11-6, 8-11, 11-9, 9-11, and 11-8 in the final.
Mahadeo Prasad Yadav, vice-president, Bihar Table Tennis Association (BTTA) gave away the prizes. Mukesh Roy, secretary, BTTA, welcomed the guests.
