Siddharth, Sanya clinch Rajendra Prasad tennis titles

Patna, December 8, 2012: Siddharth Vishwakama of Uttar Pradesh downed Rubal  Shandilya of Bihar in a three-set battle 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 to win the men’s singles title of the Deshratna Dr Rajendra Prasad Memorial Tennis Tournament at the Patliputra Colony courts here.

Sanya Madan of Delhi clinched the women’s singles title defeating Namita Bal of Maharashtra 6-3, 5-7, 7-6.

Dr Diwakar Tejaswi, Anand Diwakar and Dr Shankar Nath gave away the prizes. ITM University representative Abhinandan Singh was present on this occasion along with tournament referee Kunal Aikat. Dr AB Prasad, secretary, Bihar Lawn Tennis Association welcomed the guests.
