Bihar men and women continue winning streak in National throwball

Patna, December 28, 2011: Bihar men and women teams continued their winning momentum in the pool matches of the 34th Senior National throwball championships at the Patna Central School ground here on Wednesday.

Bihar women beat Madhya Pradesh 15-9, 15-6 in their first match of the day while in the second match they thrashed Pondicherry 15-1, 15-1. Bihar men downed neighbour Jharkhand 15-1, 15-7.

With this wins Bihar men and women teams virtually qualified for the quarterfinals.
