Three Bihar boys move into semifinals

Patna, October 27, 2010: Three Bihar players including Ishank Ravi, Adamya Vikrant and Vaibhav Kumar entered the boys’ U-16 singles semifinals of the AITA talent ranking tournament at the Patliputra Colony courts here on Wednesday.

Results: Boys U-16 quarterfinals: Ishank Ravi (Bih) bt Upmanyu Sinha (Guj) 6-2, 6-2, Admaya Vikrant (Bih) bt Adveya Sharma (Bih) 6-2, 6-2, Pradumn Buddhiraja (UP) bt Venkat Siddharth (Bih) 7-6, 7-6, Vaibhav Kumar (Bih) bt Ritwik Bhriguvanshi (Bih) 6-1, 6-0.

Boys’ U-14 quarterfinals: Sanoj Kumar (Bih) bt Upmanyu Sinha (Bih) 0-6, 6-2, 7-5, Shree Krishna (Bih) bt Madhav S Singhal (Guj) 6-1, 6-3, Pradumn Buddhiraja (UP) bt Adarsh Anand (Bih) 6-0, 6-2.
