Patna, December 22, 2013: Delhi Public
School (DPS) advanced into the semifinals of the Anu
Anand Cup Super Challenge Inter-School Football Tournament trouncing Kendriya
Vidyalaya, Kankarbagh 3-1 at the outer ground of the Moinul Haq Stadium here on
Sunday.
Naved Ahmad opened the scoring for DPS when he found the
target in the 18th minute, Satyam Raj increased the margin in the 45thminute
while Sriram Singh completed the tally in the 49th minute. Nishant Niscahl
scored the lone consolation goal for KV in the 65th minute.
Monday’s fixture: Don Bosco Academy
vs DAB Public School, BSEB Colony.
