Bihar's Saurabh Anand to play in Dubai chess meet

Patna, December 16, 2013: State champion Saurabh Anand (12) on Monday left for Dubai to take part in the World Youth Chess Championships to be held at Al-Ain, Dubai from December 17 to 29.

All Bihar Chess Association secretary Arvind Kumar Sinha said that top three players from various age groups Nationals had been selected to represent India in this mega chess event. Saurabh would play in U-12 age group championship, he added.

Dharmendra Kumar of Bihar had also been selected as an arbiter for the Dubai meet, he said.
